Our 2025 Listening

If we had to describe 2025 through music, this would be our selection. Not a chart, but a flow of releases that genuinely gave us something. We weren’t driven by popularity, but by what resonated over time. We didn't select any Irish act because it will be released on a different playlist.

The list moves between tension and intimacy, urgency and restraint, tracing different ways artists have responded to the present moment. It’s also worth saying that the amount of music released today is overwhelming, and this can only be a partial picture.

We’re certain something essential has slipped past us, something that might have belonged here too. Still, these records stayed, demanded repeat listens, and shaped how this year sounded to us. This is 2025 as we heard it
