London (UK) based post-punk/new wave/electronic duo Zelt is a project founded by instrumentalists David Adams and Phil Seddon. The pair are long-time collaborators, and the project's latest iteration pushes a danceable, mongrel mix of the duo's post-punk/new wave/electronic roots crossed with influences from North/West Africa and the Middle East.
Zelt has recently released a new EP titled One Version Of The Truth via Stridente Records. It takes in everything from acid house squelch to the twang of surf - reflecting the love of artists as diverse as vintage 70s to the eardrum busting new wave electronic.
Our friends from Stridente sent us this terrific contact, the playlist open the mind to Zelt as a project open to a lot of oriental influences. Phil and David prepared this mix for YOU! We hope you enjoy it as we did while assembling all together.
