Our 2025 Irish Listening

We recently shared a playlist featuring our 2025 listening selections from international artists, and, as anticipated, here we are with a playlist dedicated to the Irish releases we loved throughout the year. Our format usually stays within the one-hour mark, so there are many great tracks we couldn’t include. Instead, we chose representative pieces from a wide variety of genres.

2025 has been an important year for us. We were (once again!) successfully kicked out of a club — the mood wasn’t great, but immediately afterwards, we were invited to support The Murder Capital and IDLES DJ sets with our records. The gig we organised with Soft Rules, Swing Bin, and Dublin Chaos sold out. Our collaboration with the Italian Institute of Culture has also been fantastic, with two Records Club nights dedicated to pop icons 883 and the internationally recognised synth master Franco Battiato; more than 400 people showed up. They also invited us to Culture Night, where we presented The History of Italian Dance Music, which sold out both performances. One of the loveliest nights we had was with UCD’s Improvising Across Boundaries project, supporting their musicians by playing their favourite records.

We need to thank Molly's, Bernard Shaw, Racket Space, Lucky's and Anseo for the support and for being the perfect venues for our events.

The 2026 will start with:

• 24th Jan with Post Rock for the Pale Sun, where Garage Olimpo, Geo Postal and Bad Mothers Union will play together for the first time. It’s a real pleasure for us to help create networking opportunities between bands.

• 31st Jan our first Records Club night at Bernard Shaw EatYard. More information about the guests coming soon..
