Micah P. Hinson is a songwriter from Texas, born in 1981. His music was initially influenced by his father (John Denver) and then the elder brothers (The Cure, Ministry). By the end of high school Hinson’s tastes had expanded and he felt drawn to the sounds of Sonic Youth, Velvet Underground, Dinosaurs Jr, Nirvana.

He felt constrained by the smallness of his hometown, Abilene, and found escape in skateboarding, drugs and playing guitar. Completely broke, homeless he decided to change something on his life, saved up some money and moved to Denton, Texas, beginning a college course there.

Meeting of John Mark Lapham (The Earliers) was crucial for his music production he offered to help him promoting his music. His life is now stable he got married and father of 3 children.

He uses to play in Dublin regularly during his tours, the show is always intense, I really feel close to his writing and the arrangements is never banal.

The playlist also include featuring with Kormac, the Junior Art Collective and Buffetlibre and few covers he re shaped on his personal style.
