Our friends at Stridente Meets have gifted us with the contact of one of the men who never failed a collaboration and we are in love with all the projects he has been involved in. We are talking about Graham "Dids" Dowdall, a prolific musician operating at the outer edges of music for over the last few decades. He was a member of Manchester cult band Ludus, then played with Nico through the 80s, and is a current member of Pere Ubu and Roshi ft. Pars Radio.
We are promoting today his solo project Gagarin, the name is inspired by the Russian astronaut, and his music is a mix of electronic sounds and well, it comes from outer space. It's brilliant work.
Stridente Meets TV interviewed Graham and it's a road trip to his career and funny anecdotes about the people he worked with.
Graham also sent us a playlist of music he loves and strongly influenced the Gagarin project. It is indeed a great one, give it a go, we are sure you will enjoy it!
