nowHere Mother Giraffe

Mother Giraffe is the animal identity of Vincenzo, Rosario, Giorgio, and Antonio. Since 2022, the band has been crafting post-punk tracks that explore themes of social anxiety and the alienation of modern living.

They recorded and self-produced their debut four-track EP at Desert Door Studio in Gravina di Catania, releasing it in February 2023 via Musichette Records. That same year, they performed across Sicily, Calabria, and Puglia, and reached the finals of the Mish Mash Contest.

On April 1, 2023, they played at Antojito Colombiano in Catania. Recordings from that show were later used to create the Live Animals EP, released in November 2023, alongside the Antojito Colombiano Live Session video series on YouTube.

In 2024, the band represented Sicily in the finals of the Arezzo Wave Love Contest and performed at Linecheck Festival in Milan, sharing the stage with Dov’è Liana, Fuera, and Camilla Sparksss.

In April 2025, they performed in Catania as the opening act for the Brighton post-punk quintet DITZ, further consolidating their presence within the contemporary Italian post-punk scene.

They are releasing their debut LP in April, and they started to put out their first single, "Stab Fight", which is the first track of the playlist they prepared for YOU!
