Trrmà is the infectious chemistry between Giovanni Todisco on drums and Giuseppe Candiano on electronics. The project was born in 2016 and is based In Messina (Italy).
Exploding experimental influence in the electronic scene, with a naive synth/drums form, creating an adventurous sound with abstract electroacoustics, uplifting jazz grooves and wonky electronic hip hop vibes. Influenced by the most refined “beat-making” scene but in a live band perspective, proposing their modern juicy sauce and their ultimate feeling of freedom.
Trrmà release various records for different labels 577 records (USA), Hyperjazz Records (ITA), Becoq (FR) and collaborate with avantgarde artist like Charlemagne Palestine and Ornette Coleman bass player Jamalaadeen Tacuma, receiving mentions and feedback from international press (The Wire, The Quietus, Worldwide FM, Bandcamp Daily).
We got the chance to talk with Giuseppe who delighted us with a ready-to-go mix! We really appreciate it, when musicians take the full effort is great not only because we are lazy but we can feel the hands on it and it's beautiful.
